EastEnders spoilers for next week: Killer confession and heartbreaking death

EastEnders airs some big scenes next week on the show, as a number of families could be torn apart for good.

There's a heartbreaking death earlier in the week, that leaves one family devastated - but there's a huge discovery on the way too.

Elsewhere, the truth about a murder over a year ago comes to light, as one Walford resident makes a killer confession.

Ben Mitchell drops a bombshell on the Panesar family that leaves them reeling, and no doubt wanting revenge.

Here's the biggest moments of the week ahead on the BBC soap, and what fans need to watch out for...

Ben Mitchell drops a killer bombshell on one family - and it's something he's been hiding for over a year.

Of course viewers know that Ben was partly to blame for the death of Kheerat's brother, who died in prison last June.

The Panesars begged Ben to organise protection for Jags after he was being targeted, but after believing Kheerat had betrayed him he called this protection off.

Shortly after, Jags was killed and Ben has been dealing with the guilt ever since. Next week, he finally tells Kheerat and the Panesars the truth, as they try to help him - with Kheerat realising he is on drugs.

Ben tells them that he killed Jags, but how will they react and will they want revenge?
