EastEnders spoilers: Evil Archie Mitchell returns to haunt Stacey Fowler

Evil Archie Mitchell returns to haunt Stacey Fowler on Thursday's EastEnders.

The villain terrorised Albert Square until he was dramatically killed off a decade ago as part of a massive whodunnit.

Archie may be dead, but Ruby Allen's rape trial brings some awful memories flooding back to Stacey.

Ruby helps her best friend face up to what happened all those years ago and help Stacey lay her demons to rest.

They go to visit Archie's grave for the first time so that Stacey can finally get closure on her ordeal.

Archie, the husband of Peggy Mitchell, was one of the soap's most notorious villains.

Larry Lamb's character, who raped his own daughter Ronnie, had an affair with Janine Nutcher.

He was murdered by Stacey when she hit him over the head with the Queen Victoria bust.

The scenes aired on Christmas Day as part of a whodunnit storyline, before a live episode revealed Stacey was the killer.

*EastEnders airs on BBC One on Mondays and Fridays at 8pm and Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7.30pm
