Samantha Womack has shared how she had the best time in Liverpool.
The 50-year-old star is renowned for her role as Ronnie Mitchell in EastEnders. However, she is not just a talented actor as she also showed off her musical talents when as the UK representative for Eurovision in 1991.
Samantha performed A Message For Your Heart for the event in Rome and finished in joint 10th place. Eurovision fever has arrived on Merseyside this week as the international song contest is underway in the city.

Samantha appeared on Good Morning Britain today and revealed how she visited the city as part of the celebrations this week. She told anchors, Susanna Reid and Ed Balls, how she participated in an event organised by fans.
She said: "I was terrified. I didn't think anyone would remember and the fans organised this huge precursor to Eurovision. I went on stage they knew all the words and there were these amazing faces.
"I honestly had the best time." Samantha said she was blown away by how the city has embraced Eurovision.
She said: "Liverpool is on fire at the moment. The whole city is just alive and pulsating with Eurovision."
Samantha's views were shared by Rylan Clark on yesterday's Lorraine as he issued a thank you to the people of Liverpool. The host told Lorraine: "From a personal level. Thank you to the people of Liverpool because everywhere I've been over this past days, people have just been so lovely, so welcoming and so accommodating.
"Everyone just wants to be a part of it. When you're here on the ground, the feeling, Lorraine, I really wish I could describe down the lens but it's like a cuddle. Everyone is welcome."
