EastEnders has appeared to confirm where killer Gray Atkins buried his murder victim Tina Cater, in new BBC soap spoilers.
Over a year on from her murder, the killer appears to reveal exactly where she is - and it's actually a location very close to home.
According to spoilers, Gray arrives at the whereabouts of Tina's body next week after an incident, and becomes increasingly concerned she's about to be discovered.
The location is in Walford, after months of fans wondering where he disposed of her body - and questioning whether she might in fact be alive.
Gray murdered tragic Tina in December 2020, before lying to her family including her sister Shirley Carter that she ran away, after being wanted by the police.
Tina was wanted for the attempted murder of Ian Beale, which she was innocent of, and she asked for Gray's help to clear her name.
When he encouraged her to leave, his lies about her being in the frame unravelled, and she soon worked out he had murdered his wife Chantelle just months earlier.
After chasing her, Gray killed Tina before wrapping her body in a shower curtain and placing her body in the boot of his car.
It seemed he then drove to a distant location to hide her body and cover his tracks, but it actually appears this was not what happened.
Next week, Gray will be seen panicked when he hears about the gas explosion at the Argee Bhajee restaurant, not far from his house or the pub where Tina's family live.
On the scene, during a second visit to the site, Gray poses as an insurance broker needing to 'assess the damage', with it clear he is hiding something.
It's evident that he is worried when he learns from a builder that the damage to the building is excessive, and that the whole place needs to be stripped.
The panic arises because Gray is hiding something very dark, with this appearing to be the location where he buried Tina all those months ago.
While full details are yet to be explained, the spoilers confirm that the news of the building needing to be stripped "panics" Gray, leaving him concerned "Tina’s body is about to be discovered".
Now that we finally know where Tina is, surely it's only a matter of time before her body is found and her death is confirmed.
This also has to mean Gray's lies about helping her escape will be exposed, along with his other lies about Chantelle's death.
Fans will no doubt be hoping this is the start of the end for Gray, after it was teased in September his downfall was on the way by soap bosses.
EastEnders airs Mondays and Fridays at 8pm, and Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7:30pm on BBC One.
