EastEnders sees the engagement of an on/off couple next week, fresh after death fears on the BBC soap.
In the fallout to a shocking incident, it seems one character will pop the question to their on/off partner - but not everyone is thrilled by the news.
It all kicks off next week when Karen Taylor discovers some big news about her son Keanu Taylor, just days on from his hospital stint.
Amid her ongoing feud of sorts with his girlfriend Sharon Watts, Karen discovers the pair are now engaged and she is shocked.
She can't hide her true feelings when she confronts the pair, still not having given Keanu and Sharon her blessing.
So to learn her son plans to marry Sharon, weeks on from her rejecting his initial proposal, Karen is left reeling.
But on hearing the news, could she have a change of heart and finally accept the romance?
Amid a feud with the Panesars, Keanu turns down the idea of a celebration at The Queen Vic in fear of running into Nish.
Karen takes action as she fears for the safety of her son, and she seeks out Nish's wife Suki with a request.
She begs her, mother to mother, to get Nish to drop his vendetta against Keanu and her family after recent events - but will Suki listen?
While Karen is acting out of fear, could she also be trying to make amends with Keanu and Sharon?
It comes amid scenes this week that real Keanu faces death, after a showdown with Ravi Gulati.
Keanu is attacked and left for dead, but the spoilers about the engagement seemingly confirm he lives to tell the tale.
Later in the year one male character will not be so lucky, in scenes involving Sharon and five other Walford ladies.
Known as 'The Six', the women featured in a recent flashforward clip for scenes to air on Christmas Day, with one male character being killed off.
It's hinted one of the six women will kill the mystery man, while exact details on what happens have not been confirmed by the soap.
Something else hinted in the clip is that Sharon will tie the knot or plans to tie the knot on Christmas Day, but is Keanu the groom?
The Queen Vic is decorated for a wedding, and Sharon is wearing a wedding dress in the clip which heavily hints she is the bride.
EastEnders airs Mondays to Thursdays at 7:30pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
