EastEnders' Patsy Palmer becomes fourth star eliminated from Dancing On Ice

Patsy Palmer became the latest celebrity to exit Dancing On Ice on Sunday evening after landing in the dreaded skate-off.

Hosts Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby delivered the news that Patsy Palmer and Darren Harriott would fight it out following a vote. After a tense second go on the ice, the EastEnders star became the fourth star eliminated in the ITV competition.

The actress, famed for her role as Bianca Jackson on the BBC soap, was sent packing after the entire judging panel - Jayne Torvill, Christopher Dean, Ashley Banjo, Oti Mabuse unanimously voted to save Darren and his pro partner, Tippy Packard.

Judge Ashley said that both couples should be "proud of themselves," a sentiment echoed by Oti Mabuse. Patsy reflected on her time on the show as she said it had always been something that she had wanted to do, taking her exit from the show with grace.

This comes a week after former Love Island winner Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu became the third contestant to be eliminated alongside pro skating partner Brendyn Hatfield.

Prior to Ekin-Su's exit, Liberty X star Michelle Heaton was the second celebrity to leave the show, after she and her partner Lukasz Rozycki received the fewest votes from the public.

Footballer John Fashanu and his partner Alexandra Schauman became the first stars voted out after a dance-off against Ekin Su and Brendyn.

On Sunday night's episode , former The Wanted star, Siva Kaneswaran was not seen performing on the ice. The singer contracted a bug leaving him unable to take to the ice, but will return next week.

Dancing On Ice returns to ITV and ITVX on Sunday.
