EastEnders' Mitch Baker will be in danger in upcoming scenes, as evil Nish Panesar plots revenge.
The character assumes he could be having an affair with his wife Suki Panesar, or that Mitch might have taken a liking to her.
Viewers know that years ago, Nish was sent to prison for killing a man who he believed Suki had gotten close to.
History could be about to repeat itself next week, when Nish gets jealous once again after seeing Mitch and Suki together.
Suki is trapped in her marriage to abusive and controlling Nish, despite claiming to her family she was happy to reconcile with him.
She gave him another chance late last year after he left prison and headed to Walford, and now she's trying to stall their marriage blessing ceremony plans.
Amid this, Suki is forced to call Mitch for help when a tap at her home breaks.
Mitch and Suki soon confide in each other about the stresses of family life, and moved by his woes Suki offers Mitch a permanent job as a handy man for their tenants.
Unaware of what's been going on, Nish catches Mitch leaving the house and is soon left in a jealous rage.
Clearly suspecting something is going on between them, Nish makes an ominous call to son Ravi after Mitch accidentally reveals he has been helping Suki with their tenants.
Furious to have been kept in the dark and still suspecting Suki is playing away, he speaks to Ravi about Mitch.
But Suki soon walks in and overhears the conversation, leading to a furious row between the couple.
Suki nervously reassures Nish that he is the only man for her, but will he believe her or does he think she and Mitch are having an affair?
What he doesn't yet know is that Suki had a romance with Eve Unwin prior to his return, and it's clear there's unfinished business there.
Meanwhile, given Nish has killed before after he believed a man was getting close to his wife, does Mitch need to watch out?
EastEnders airs Mondays to Thursdays at 7:30pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
