Louisa Lytton has given fans a glimpse into her wedding ceremony in a sweet post on social media, with her saying the day was "so special and overwhelming".
The former EastEnders star, 33, finally tied the knot with her now-husband Ben Bhanvra in July after being forced to cancel three times due to coronavirus restrictions.
The couple had a legal ceremony in the UK before flying out to Tuscany to celebrate with family and friends. Taking to Instagram on Tuesday (September 13), Louisa shared some beautiful moments from their UK wedding.
The actress wore a satin backless dress which featured elegant button detailing and a short train. She opted for a minimal makeup look and wore her long brown hair loose over her shoulders.
Ben opted for a deep blue suit which he wore with a white shirt and gold tie. The loved-up couple beamed as they were pictured walking up the aisle together.
Alongside the snaps, Louisa wrote: "I wouldn’t want to have it any other way . . . @bennnyy__ and I legally got married a few days before we headed to Italy.
"With just parents and witnesses (and Aura) it was so special. Dad and I had a glass of Prosecco, did up my dress and we strolled down our road to the church, we felt like we were walking to Sainsburys. Like any other day.
"It was so surreal, the overwhelming feeling of what I was actually about to do hit me as soon as I spotted Ben down the aisle. I’ll never forget that feeling."
Louisa also thanked dress designer Andrea Hawkes "for the perfect, subtle wedding dress".
She added: "I wore it at the evening of our Italian wedding too. I will be wearing again on our one year anniversary, even if I’m just in the kitchen washing up."
Louisa's special day was captured on camera by her friend Tyler Fayose.
In a sweet tribute to her pal, Louisa wrote: "My life long friend. Who would have thought when we met in Mc Donald’s 2006 that you would be here photographing my wedding."
Louisa and Ben got engaged in 2019 after being introduced by a mutual friend two years earlier. The couple share one child together, daughter Aura.
After their wedding, the newlyweds enjoyed their honeymoon in Italy and were joined by their one-year-old daughter.
