EastEnders' Little Mo return 'sealed' as Freddie explodes after paternity twist

EastEnders aired huge scenes for Freddie Slater on Thursday night, which could pave the way for Little Mo's return.

The fan favourite left the show back in 2006, when little Freddie was just a baby.

Recently, Freddie returned to the soap and tracked down Mo's ex Billy Mitchell, believing he was his dad.

He's grown up with Little Mo telling him Billy was his dad, while his real father is a man named Graham Foster who raped Little Mo in 2003.

Wednesday night saw Freddie being told by Billy's cousin Phil Mitchell that he was not his real father, leading to him getting drunk.

Freddie turned up the next day in a state, and it soon emerged Freddie had found out he'd been lied to and that Billy was not his real dad.

As the episode went on, Freddie lashed out at the Slaters and the Mitchells for hiding the truth for him and not being honest.

Eventually his pal Bobby Beale managed to calm him down, and Freddie agreed to speak with Billy to get the truth.

Billy then explained what happened with him and Mo, but said it was up to his mum to tell him who his real dad was.

He added how he'd always wished he was his father and would still be there for him if he let him, telling him the Slaters were also going to take care of him.

As the pair made amends, Billy did not tell Freddie about Graham, while Freddie also chose not to ask about his dad for the time being.

But viewers were quick to speculate the full truth would come out, or maybe Mo would head back to Walford to explain everything.

Viewers took to Twitter pleading for the show to bring Little Mo back for the first time since her exit, wanting her to make an appearence.

One viewer said: "There is a huge Little Mo shaped hole in this Freddie storyline. It would elevate it SO much if they got her back for a few episodes. Please make it happen!"

Another tweeted: "I’m thinking Little Mo could be making a surprise appearance soon."

A third added: "Little Mo needs to come and talk to Freddie," while a fourth fan said: "Bring little mo back to tell him the truth."

EastEnders airs Mondays to Thursdays at 7:30pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer
