EastEnders' Kheerat tries to get murder confession out of Gray ahead of downfall

EastEnders' Kheerat Panesar continues his plan to bring down killer Gray Atkins next week on the BBC soap.

Spoilers confirm the character tries to get a confession out of him, after suspecting he murdered his ex-wife Chantelle Atkins.

He and Whitney Dean are trying to expose him, but they fear his new wife Chelsea Fox is in grave danger.

Whitney had learned of Gray's disturbing behaviour towards women, before finding out through a domestic abuse forum that Gray had physically and emotionally abused Chantelle.

She's now keen to get Chelsea, who also knows the truth, away with her baby son Jordan who is still in hospital after his premature birth.

Chelsea is struggling with recent events, desperate to get away from her husband, while he is now targeting her vulnerable state of mind.

Next week, Kheerat continues to pretend to be Gray's pal as he stays close to him in his bid to find the evidence they need against him.

They know he hurt Chantelle and now believe her death was not an accident, and that he killed her - something viewers know to be true, as he fatally attacked her in September 2020.

What he doesn't know though is that he has also killed Tina Carter and Kush Kazemi.

Viewers are desperate for the truth to come out and for Gray to finally be exposed, and it seems Kheerat might get closer to bringing him down.

As Jordan continues recovering in hospital, his dad is there when Kheerat pushes him for a confession.

Gray gets close to dropping his murder bombshell too, only to be interrupted by a doctor.

As events unfold, Gray tells Kheerat he thinks deserves what’s happened as Kheerat hopes he’s close to confessing.

However, just as it looks as though he is about to spill the beans he is interrupted again by the doctor who needs him to make a big decision.

Viewers will have to tune in next week to find out what happens, and whether Gray gets found out.

EastEnders airs Mondays and Fridays at 8pm, and Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7:30pm on ITV.
