EastEnders' Jean Slater proposed to her ex during tonight's episode, as her mental health continues to spiral.
Stacey Slater has been growing increasingly concerned for her mum, who is battling with her mental health, and in tonight's episode, the cause of concern turned up a notch as Jean re-appeared on Albert Square after a night out with a group of men.
As she arrived back on the Square, she fell out of the limo and onto the floor, leaving both Whitney and Martin really worried to her. Trying not to panic her, Martin suggested they go and get a drink together as he mouthed to Eve to call Stacey.
He then sat down with her at Sharon's house, where they discussed the night out and Martin tried to check if everything was OK and that Jean hadn't been hurt by the anonymous men, who she had linked up with whilst they were on a stag do.
Heartbroken for her and seeing she was struggling, as she explained how the men had called her 'crazy', Martin stayed with Jean until Stacey arrived. She was unimpressed to see her daughter there, and was even more annoyed when she found out that Stacey had booked her an appointment with the doctors for later in the week as her fears worsen.
Stacey tried to take Jean home, but she refused and they were forced to let her carry on about her day, as Jean headed to speak to her ex-partner Harvey, who she had split from when he found out she had made a pass at his friend Rocky.
Harvey told her things couldn't work and sent her on her way, as she headed into the centre of town and spotted the men she had met on the stag do the night before - but this time he was with his bride.
As she waited for them to throw the bouquet, she hoped to catch it - and she did.
Seeing it as a sign, she headed off to Harvey's house, and was determined to get him back.
Arriving at the house, she cautiously stepped into the living room with the flowers hidden behind her back, before she told him what had just happened and brandished the flowers.
Asking him to marry her, Harvey was incredibly taken aback by her gesture - as he wondered what to do next.
