Adam Woodyatt swooned over his Merseyside link as he posed alongside a former Liverpool FC player.
The 54-year-old is best known for playing Ian Beale in EastEnders. The actor exited the show last year - and has remained tight-lipped on whether the iconic character will return to Albert Square.
Away from Walford, the actor has previously spoke out of his strong connection to the city as he is a huge Liverpool FC supporter. Adam's love for the Reds started when he watched Bob Paisley's side defeat Stoke 5-3 in 1976.

He told the Observer in 2002: "My grandad had tried to get me to follow West Ham but even watching them beat Fulham in the 1975 Cup Final didn't spark anything off. At school in Snaresbrook, east London, everyone else was Spurs or West Ham, so I got slagged off non-stop for supporting Liverpool. People said, 'You only support Liverpool because they win trophies'.
"But it was because of that 5-3 game. Thank God Liverpool won or I'd have ended up supporting Stoke!" Adam regularly shares his reaction to Liverpool FC results on social media and was in attendance at Wembley for the Reds' FA Cup triumph over Chelsea in May.
He has taken to Instagram to share a snap alongside the Reds' former record signing, Andy Carroll, as he branded the striker as a "legend".
Carroll joined the Red' for £35m when he made the move from Newcastle United in January 2011. His time on Merseyside was plagued with injury troubles as he struggled to settle into then-manager, Kenny Dalglish's, style of play.
He is best remembered by Liverpool FC fans for netting a late winner against Everton in the FA Cup semi final in 2012. Brendan Rodgers was appointed the club's manager the following summer and moved the striker on to West Ham United when he decided he didn't fit in with his plans.
