EastEnders fans wowed by Letitia Dean's 'amazing' weight loss - and ask for her 'secret'

EastEnders fans have all been left in awe at one star's "amazing" weight loss. Taking to Twitter to praise actress Letitia Dean - who plays Sharon Watts - on her slim physique, many have been asking for her 'secret' after reportedly dropping down four dress sizes.

Addressing her figure in a recent episode of the popular BBC soap, one viewer, @Nazcx__, asked: "I'm so intrigued. I need Sharon's weight loss secret. She looks amazing!" @Kerry85 gushed: "Need to go on the Letitia Dean diet. She looks amazing."

@Leah_Scarpati exclaimed: “Bloody hell Sharon in EastEnders is literally HALF the woman she used to be!!” @NerradSelims_91 added: “Letitia Dean has lost so much weight she looks amazing. Massive well done to her."

According to The Daily Mail, the actress is said to have dropped down four dress sizes in four months - going from 10st 4lb to 8st 3lb last year. However, as the 55-year-old actress has not spoken publicly about a diet or exercise plan in recent years, it is not known how Letitia slimmed down to the size she currently is, as reported by The Express.

Although, she has spoken out previously about a “healthy food” diet she once followed. In 2020, the TV star discussed her weight and opened up about a number of nasty comments people had said.

Speaking to The Sun, she said: “I had quite a lot of horrible things said about me; ‘She's too fat, the other actors complain they can't fit on the same set with her.’”

The actress is said to have reduced her calorie intake to 1,300 to lose weight. A calorie deficit is the energy your body requires to maintain your current weight, minus your dietary calorie intake.
