EastEnders fans 'work out' who's been shot as two gunmen break into new club

EastEnders fans have rumbled who has been shot in a dramatic episode of the BBC soap tonight.

There is a dramatic week of episodes ahead, with the show being moved to BBC Two this week to coincide with the coverage of the Wimbledon tennis tournament, and it all kicked off with a dramatic gunshot scene.

Kat and Sharon were busy preparing for the grand opening of the new club Peggy's, whilst Sam continued to boss people around - despite the fact she's been sacked.

However, there was a huge twist at the end of the episode - as two masked gunmen entered waving a gun.

A gun shot then rung out - but fans are yet to find out who has been injured - although they are sure they've worked out exactly who is behind it, and they believe it's obvious who has been injured.

One fan wrote: "If Sharon and her stunning heels don't get out of this I WILL SUE!!!!!!! #NeighbourhoodWatts #EastEnders."

"I guess Kat's dead then, but don't worry, she'll come back as Kat the White and face Shirley, the Witch-Queen of Walford. #EastEnders," another fan penned, as a third wrote: "Jesus I can’t believe they’ve blown Kats brains out! #EastEnders."

A fourth person shared: "Wait a min so no Sam at all she weren’t even there everyone wants that damn club that makes more sense unless Phil told her to stay out #EastEnders - a gun ‘shot’ wow."

At the time of the shooting, Shirley was in the club trashing it and getting revenge on the Mitchells for what they did to her family - but she was stopped in her tracks when the two men entered waving a gun.

Sharon and Kat were in the firing line (BBC)

"Just tell Phil he doesn't get to make the rules anymore. He doesn't get to bounce back. He doesn't get to decide who is/isn't collateral damage," she told them, before adding: "You can't pin anything on me. This is for Heath and my granddaughter."

She ran to the office to take cover - but Sharon and Kat were left in the firing line as a gunshot rang out.
