EastEnders fans are sure they've worked out what's really happened with Louise - after her mother Lisa Fowler returned to Walford.
Louise headed away from Albert Square back in 2020 when she believed she had played a part in Keanu's 'death' after he cheated on her with Sharon, who was Louise's step mum at the time. Struggling to cope, Lisa and Louise left with the latter's daughter in tow, with no knowledge that Keanu was actually still alive and had managed to get away.
On tonight's episode, Phil Mitchell came by to speak to Lisa, demanding to know what was really going on.
"When are you releasing your parenting book, because I'd love a signed copy Phil," she sarcastically asked him, before he mentioned Louise and if Lisa had heard from her and questioned how she was doing.
He asked: "Still not heard from Lou?" to which she replied: "She's probably making the most of being child free, ain't she?"
Phil then quizzed her on whether something was going on that she wasn't telling him about as he warned he'd "find out". When she commented on his trust issues, he raised his eyebrows and reminded her that she had tried to kill him.
Fans are now convinced they know what's happened to Louise, who Lisa claims is struggling with motherhood.
One wrote: "Lisa needs to be careful - Sonia is starting to get suspicious over her phone usage. I wonder if Louise knows about her addiction? I have a feeling that Lisa took Peggy without Louise's permission. #EastEnders."
"Or Louise has been kidnapped as Lisa owes someone a lot of money #Eastenders," another fan suggested, as a third added: "#EastEnders What really happend with Louise ? - is the question that still remains. Is she aware of Lisa's gambling addiction and will she tell Phil and Ben? I reckon Lisa kidnapped Peggy in secret and accused Louise of being a bad mother."
A fourth suggested: "Wonder if lisa’s taken peggy without louise knowing? #EastEnders."
Lucy Benjamin previously told The Mirror of her return: "I can’t wait to return as Lisa after leaving for Portugal with Louise and Peggy in 2019. No doubt, in true Lisa fashion, she will bring plenty of drama for many of the characters, which is why playing her is a delight."
