EastEnders fans were left stunned by Sharon's glam new look on the BBC One soap.
Actress Letitia Dean looked incredible as she made her return to Albert Square last night, looking even more glam than ever. Fans flooded Twitter, as they heaped praise on Sharon for her incredible new slimmed down frame.
Taking to social media, viewers tuning into the soap noticed Sharon was looking very different, as many rushed to congratulate her on her brand new look, which they said had "knocked years off" her.
During last night's episode, Sharon referenced her huge change, saying: "I've been pampered, polished and plucked".
Fans rushed to Twitter to congratulate her and praise her on her new look.
"Letitia Dean looks incredible, don't know if it's a diet or the gym but fair play to her because it's knocked years off her #Sharon #EastEnders #LetitiaDean #weightloss," one wrote, as a second added: "Sharon looks incredible #Eastenders."
A third shared: " #EastEnders Sharon has shed loads of weight ,looking amazing."
"Sharon looks so beautiful today, she looks 19 #EastEnders," a fourth added, with a fifth writing: " #eastenders anyone else going to mention how Sharon is looking at the moment!"
"How great does Sharon look! #EastEnders," a sixth penned, as another praised the "true icon". They added: "Leticia dean is always a true icon and looks absolutely flawless as Sharon in tonight’s #EastEnders."
"Sharon looks absolutely fabulous lately #EastEnders #ourqueen," another wrote.
Back in 2020, Letitia recalled how she was targeted by cruel trolls over her weight.
"I had quite a lot of horrible things said about me. 'She's too fat, the other actors complain they can't fit on the same set with her," she explained on spin-off show Secrets from the Square at the time.
And when she took a break from the soap in 2009, she made it her mission to focus on her health.
"I just woke up one morning, and I'd had enough. For years and years - as long as I can remember - my weight had yo-yoed up and down," she shared back then, "I'd go on fad diets like Atkins or I'd only eat eggs. The effect was great, even if my breath did smell foul. I'd lose a stone in a couple of weeks, but gradually I'd slip back into my old ways and put it all on again."
Sharon is a regular on the BBC One soap and she made her first appearance in the very first episode back in February 1985.
