EastEnders may have dropped a major hint about how Gray Atkins will be exposed for the murders of Tina Carter and Chantelle Atkins soon.
The character issued a chilling threat to new wife Chelsea Fox on Tuesday, after spying on her and realising she had lied to him.
But it got fans thinking that he could end up exposing his past crimes, while some viewers claimed this could not be possible.
Chelsea had fled the house while Kheerat Panesar was keeping Gray busy at the pub, hoping to get her passport so that she could register baby son Jordan's birth without Gray.
Kheerat has been plotting with Whitney Dean to try and bring down Gray, after unearthing proof he was violent towards his ex-wife Chantelle.
Both of them are now fearful he murdered her but they need proof, while they are also trying to get Chelsea away from her killer husband.
Chelsea managed to sneak home just as Gray returned in the latest episode, and she claimed she popped out for some milk.
But what she didn't think about was the Ring doorbell camera recorded the moment she left and returned, revealing she had not simply popped out.
He soon threatened her to tell him the truth, but viewers were distracted from the moment as he showed Chelsea the camera footage of her.
Many fans began to question how long the camera had been there, and whether it might have recorded his movements on the nights of Tina and Chantelle's deaths.
Some fans hoped this would be the thing that brings him down, and that maybe Chelsea would go snooping and find evidence of him moving Tina's body to his car.
One viewer tweeted: "Wonder what that ‘Ring’ doorbell has seen? Gray leaving the house on the night of Chantelle’s death, putting Tina’s body in the boot of his car and now Chelsea sneaking out!"
Another agreed: "That’s Grays downfall! The “Ring” doorbell," as a third added: "Just rewatched when Gray killed Tina. Looks like the Ring Doorbell on the door….."
But other pointed out the doorbell was a recent purchase it seems, so he most likely did not have a camera prior to this.
Some fans noticed it did not appear to be outside the house in scenes in December, so while a good theory it probably wouldn't have been there previously.
One viewer commented: "That's not the 'ring doorbell'. I've just watched the clip of Whitney rushing to tell Chelsea about Chantelle's forum posts few weeks ago and it's a different doorbell."
Another wrote: "Also, he said 'we can't be too careful now we're spending so much time at the hospital' - so it's a new install."
A third added: "He probably put it there after Christmas to try and catch Chelsea out but never say never."
EastEnders airs Mondays and Fridays at 8pm, and Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7:30pm on BBC One.
