EastEnders viewers are predicting Linda Carter could be murdered in a horrifying plot twist.
The BBC One soap aired dramatic scenes yesterday, as Janine Butcher (Charlie Brooks) decided to frame Linda (Kellie Bright) for the crash she caught, dragging Linda into the drivers' seat and making it look like she was responsible.
Janine has been desperate to secure Mick Carter (Danny Dyer) and his love from Linda, and has been doing everything in her power to make it happen - with fans now convinced she'll go to extreme lengths to secure her man.
During last night's episode, she headed off to spend time with Claire - but tonight she was back and joined Mick at the hospital.
However, viewers are convinced the reason for her being there is quite a sinister one.
"Janine must be getting ready to switch off Linda's machines because why else would you be so bold to show up at the hospital? #eastenders," one fan penned on Twitter.
Another added: "The real reason Janine came back so she could finish the job #eastenders," as a third fan of the show shared online: "Janine have you got death wish for yourself or come to finish off Linda #Eastenders."
Linda is currently in a coma and needs to have surgery on her brain, and fans are fuming over Janine's reappearance.
"Disgusting how Janine can stand with the carters when it was her who was driving causing the crash and Made it look like Linda was driving because she was already drunk anyway. Linda is in a coma needing an operation," one wrote.
However, other fans are hopeful that Linda will wake up and remember everything, as they begged for Janine not to get away with what happened - as they called for the villain to be served justice.
"I hope Linda wakes up had remembers everything that happened. I don’t want Janine getting away with this one #Eastenders," one wrote, as another added: "Janine better not get away with all this #Eastenders."
A third viewer of the BBC One soap shared: "I bet Linda will wake up, seem like she's got amnesia, but then catch Janine on the sly and reveal she's been faking all along to make her suffer #EastEnders."
