EastEnders fans were feeling unconvinced after discovering Chelsea Fox's real age in a recent episode.
The character, played by Zaraah Abrahams, opened up about her journey as a single mother.
She became a single mother during her relationship with serial killer Gray Atkins - who was arrested for multiple murders.
Chelsea named her little boy Jordan and had to navigate parenthood on her own after Gray went to prison.
During a recent episode of the long-running soap, Chelsea finally revealed her age and fans were gobsmacked by the new information.
Fans said her age is "unrealistic" and took to social media to complain about it.
"Chelsea is 36? Then why is her character written like she is 15?", one confused user questioned while another said: "Chelsea is 36!"
Another viewer pointed out: "Chelsea looks 26 not 36! Seems a bit unrealistic to me but she looks amazing."
One fan said that Denise Fox (played by Diane Parish) looked too young to be Chelsea's mum.
Earlier this month, the actress who plays Chelsea, Zaraah, teased that history could repeat itself amid a new romance.
However, she finds herself in another predicament - and she ends up being set up on a date with Keanu, as her mum tries to help her find a new man, whilst Ravi - who is also pursuing Denise - has also shown an interest in her.
Asked who her character might go for, Zaraah shared: "I think Ravi. He lends more to her history in terms of his ‘bad boy’ image, even though she thinks she would like a really soft and kind-hearted person."
Despite her going on a date with Keanu, Ravi is still keen to get to know her more and carry on whatever they've got going on.
"It gives Chelsea a bit of a confidence boost and it makes her feel like she should really think about the choices that are offered to her. It makes her feel like she’s still got it!" she explained of Chelsea's reaction to it.
