EastEnders fans were slightly distracted on Tuesday as Chelsea let Whitney look after baby Jordan amid her plans to put him up for adoption.
Denise got Chelsea to watch Raymond play, which only left her even more determined to go ahead with the adoption.
Chelsea made her adoption decision earlier this month, telling Whitney she has decided on the course of action in order to make sure nothing bad ever happens to Jordan again.
But as Whitney sat on the sofa bouncing the little baby, many fans were quick to point out the baby was “obviously” a doll, with one taking to Twitter to suggest: “They need some tips from Call The Midwife on how to make the babies look less like dolls.”
Another wrote: “Could they not have made that baby look a bit more realistic.”
Another posted: “What is in that blanket Whitney is holding? I know its meant to be a baby but…”
A fourth viewer wrote: “Obvious doll claxon,” alongside a laughing crying emoji.
This comes after EastEnders fans worked out Gray Atkins’ cunning plan to avoid jail time after news broke that he intended to plead guilty during Monday night’s instalment of the soap.
The Walford villain was arrested for murdering his first bride Chantelle, Tina Carter and Kush Kazemi.
BBC viewers tuning in on Monday were shocked to learn that Gray had decided to admit to his crimes, as his second wife Chelsea Fox broke the news to Whitney Dean.
But as fans digested the news, several theorised that Gray could have an ulterior motive for pleading guilty and may have done it in the hopes of a lighter sentence.
One wrote: “Gray knows how the system is played as a former lawyer. Pleading guilty means less time in prison (and no trial)”
“You still can Whitney, you can always watch him get sentenced,” another wrote. “By the way, Gray is only pleading guilty so he can get a lighter sentence. He knows what he's doing.”
A third questioned: “Gray doesn't seem the sort of person who would plead guilty?”
The EastEnders villain is also set to drop a bombshell on Chelsea this week, as she's considering putting their son up for adoption.
But there's more bad news on the horizon next week, as Chelsea receives a distressing letter from Gray, in which he refuses to keep paying the mortgage, potentially leaving her in a devastating financial situation.
Elsewhere during Tuesday’s instalment of the BBC soap, Rainie was distraught when the doctor confirmed that Stuart's cancer had grown and he will need immediate treatment.
But despite her best efforts to persuade him to seek medical intervention to fight the cancer, Stuart has continued to insist that his holistic approach is the best option.
Elsewhere on the soap, Bernie returned and confirmed that she still intends to give the baby to Rainie and Stuart - but she also put pressure on the couple to give her the rest of the money once the baby is born, despite their money woes amid Stuart’s cancer treatment.
But Bernie found out about Stuart's cancer when Sonia accidentally let the news slip and she confronted Rainie and Stuart for keeping this from her - only for the row to be interrupted when Bernie's waters broke.
EastEnders airs Mondays and Fridays at 8pm, and Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7:30pm on BBC One.
