EastEnders fans have been demanding Ronnie returns to Albert Square after Roxy is set to make a surprise comeback to the BBC soap in upcoming scenes.
In a shock twist, Roxy Mitchell will return to screens six years after her tragic exit when she was shockingly killed off in devastating scenes alongside her sister Ronnie.
The soap was slammed for the deaths by viewers after Ronnie drowned in her wedding dress while trying to save her sister, who had dived into a pool at the wedding venue during Ronnie's wedding to Jack Branning.
With news of one Mitchell sister making a return as part of onscreen daughter Amy Mitchell's latest storyline, fans are desperate to see Ronnie make a comeback as well.
One fan wrote: "I don’t give a s*** if it would be the most ridiculous storyline ever and I don’t care how they do it, EastEnders need to bring Ronnie and Roxy back."
"I can’t stop thinking about Ronnie and Roxy. Just bring ‘em back!," exclaimed another.
Someone else commented: "Roxy Mitchell briefly coming back?? Killing Ronnie and Roxy off was the biggest mistake they ever made," whilst another added: "Someone bring Ronnie Mitchell back please, I miss that character so much."
"If Ronnie and Roxy randomly appear on EastEnders I wouldn’t even question the fact we literally saw them die in a pool," quipped a fan.
A sixth added: "If EastEnders brought back Ronnie and Roxy from the dead everyone would cheer."
Fans excitement for Roxy's return comes after her daughter Amy seeks help.
The teenager has been struggling with self-harming for months after taunts at school last year and has really struggled with not having her mother around.
In scenes on Thursday night, her mother makes an appearance as she looks to her once more for help.
Roxy will appear to Amy as she attends a group therapy session where she is encouraged to open up about her emotions surrounding the loss of her mum.
While it's in vision form, Roxy is seen on screen in new scenes that were filmed recently with actress Rita Simons.
Executive Producer Chris Clenshaw revealed: "I’m thrilled to welcome the fabulous Rita back to the iconic role of Roxy Mitchell for these special scenes.
"Although the character was last seen on-screen in January 2017, Roxy still remains a fan favourite. We know our audiences will be thrilled at her short return as Amy seeks some all-important answers from her mum at this point in the storyline."
