EastEnders star Clair Norris looked totally different to her character Bernadette ‘Bernie’ Taylor in a glam selfie with boyfriend Lewis Wood.
The 23-year-old plays the downtrodden high school student in the long-running BBC One soap, and she wowed her followers as she revealed a sleek new look in a picture posted to Instagram.
In the snap, Clair is miles apart from Bernie’s usual down and out look, as her long brown hair has been straightened and falls around her shoulders, instantly transforming her from dowdy to glam.
She’s also sporting a healthy glow as she smiles for the camera, with boyfriend Lewis by her side.
Fans were quick to heap praise on Clair’s laidback look for a date night with her beau, as she rocked a khaki green top and minimal make-up, instead highlighting her eyes with a slick of mascara and enviable brows.
The actress hinted at a boozy night out with Lewis, as she captioned the post with a series of emojis as she tried to spell out the cocktail they had been drinking.
“After a lot of Long (Island Ice Teas)," she wrote, using an island, ice cube and tea emojis.
"The east end girl with the beautiful eyes,” one adoring fan commented, with another adding: “You're looking amazing!"
The couple recently celebrated their third anniversary with a romantic break in Cornwall, and Clair heaped praise on her other half as she marked the milestone with a gushing Instagram post.
"Three years of memories & a lifetime to come. Thank you for being my partner in crime. I love you endlessly…" Clair wrote.
Back in April, she revealed that she was planning on moving in with Lewis, as she shared a photo of a calendar her mother had gifted her.
“My mum just bought this for me and @lewisswood for when we move out next year.
"No one has touched the numbers etc (literally just been bought). I noticed it said April 2nd which is a special day for three reasons…
"It’s my anniversary, it’s Lewis’s birthday and it’s the first time I ever saw Lewis.
"Long story short… I checked the dates and I met Lewis on Monday 2nd April 2018. What are the chances? Everything happens for a reason,” she wrote.
Clair made her debut in EastEnders in 2017, as her character moved to Walford with mother Karen and siblings Keanu, Keegan, Chatham and Riley.
Since then, her character has been involved in gritty storylines including teenage pregnancy, and subsequently giving birth to stillborn daughter Belle.
Most recently, her character Bernie is currently addicted to diet pills while acting as a surrogate for Rainie and Stuart.
