EastEnders has remained tight-lipped on storylines in the run up to Christmas, but they have now teased what fans can expect over the festive season this year.
EastEnders viewers can expect ‘secrets and lies exposed’ and Albert Square must then cope with the aftermath of the big day.
The soap has issued a tantalising teaser, hinting at what's about to happen this Christmas season, saying: “As the residents of Walford get set to celebrate the festivities, there are those who are desperate to reclaim lost soul mates, forge futures with new loves and fight dirty to protect their families.”
It comes as the soap is preparing for Danny Dyer’s highly anticipated exit from the character of Mick Carter, who will find himself embroiled in danger this Christmas.
He’s heading towards his wedding with his pregnant fiancée Janine Butcher (Charlie Brooks) – but clearly still has feelings for his ex-wife Linda (Kellie Bright).
Mick's mum Shirley ( Linda Henry ) is desperate to get evidence that Janine is keeping dark secrets, but can she get what she needs before it's too late?
The soap has teased a series of short episode synopses for the BBC soap this festive season, with the drama kicking off ahead of Christmas Eve.
