EastEnders actor Charlie Wernham is a married man, as the soap star tied the knot with girlfriend Emma Collis at a stunning ceremony this weekend.
Charlie, best known for playing Aaron Monroe on Albert Square, married long-term partner Emma at a ceremony in Essex this weekend.
Bride Emma looked stunning a fairytale white gown, complete with diamanté studded bodice and flowing skirt.
While beaming groom Charlie looked dapper in a three piece grey suit with a yellow flower buttonhole to match his wife's bouquet.
After the service, Emma shared a snap of her new wedding ring to Instagram along with a 'Just married' sticker.
The newlywed told her followers it was 'so surreal' as she posted a teary emoji and a love heart.
Charlie's fellow soap star Jessica Ellis was in attendance on the day and posted a photo of the bride and groom sitting at the top table at their reception.
Hollyoaks actress Jessica shared some snaps from the reception and her posing with he fellow guests.
"Well thank you very much mr and mrs Wernham for the most amazing day!" she wrote. "We feel so honoured to have been part of your special day!" she added as the caption.
Two more ex Hollyoaks stars, real-life couple Daisy Wood-Davis and Luke Jerdy, also paid tribute to the newlyweds.
"Celebrating Mr & Mrs Wernham's happily ever after," the pair wrote in their joint post.
As well as starring in EastEnders, Charlie also appeared on Britain's Got Talent in 2008 when he entered as an amateur comedian and made it all the way to the semi-final.
Head judge Simon Cowell said of his audition: "We've had some rotten comedians on this show, but you're the only one who's made me laugh and told jokes that I could understand".
Cowell also compared him to a funny version of Jim Davidson.
Charlie's other TV credits include Hollyoaks, Bad Education and The InBetweeners.
On Saturday, the actor and girlfriend Emma said 'I do' at Gosfield Hall in Essex.
Charlie popped the question on Valentine's Day 2021 after the couple had been together for over seven years.
In an Instagram post the EastEnders star wrote: "Happy Valentine's Day to this absolute Treacle. I'm grateful for you everyday. I can't wait to say 'I do' and create more memories."
Charlie also spoke of his delight after winning a role in hit BBC soap he admitted he had been a fan of since he was a child.
The star explained: "It was always a childhood dream of mine to be in EastEnders. It’s a show that’s constantly on TV in my household as my family are massive fans so it’s always been close to my heart. "
EastEnders Executive Producer, Jon Sen said of Charlie joining the cast: "We’re very happy to be welcoming Charlie to Walford.
"His character Aaron joins the Monroe’s, our newest family set to move into the Square with connections to the Beale’s. In many ways he’s the opposite to his sister Dana and Harvey’s relationship with them both is likely to be tested. There’s more to Aaron than his bravado lets on and we look forward to Charlie’s arrival on screen later this year."
