EastEnders aired a dramatic exit for Kheerat Panesar on Tuesday night on the BBC soap, as his showdown with Gray Atkins landed him in serious trouble.
It's not been confirmed whether it is a permanent exit for the Walford favourite, but we're tipping him to be back at some point.
For now though, Kheerat is on the run after attacking Gray in self-defence.
Gray lured him into a trap and tried to silence him, after becoming aware that he knew what he'd done to his wife Chantelle Atkins.
Fearing his killer secret was about to be exposed, ahead of the discovery of Tina Carter's body, he attacked Kheerat with him forced to fight back.
After a struggle Gray fell to the floor and hit his head, with Kheerat fearing he had killed him.
At the start of Tuesday night's episode of the soap, Gray's wife Chelsea Fox returned home to find a lifeless Gray, with his head in a pool of blood.
She then spotted Kheerat and worked out he was behind it, before doing the unthinkable.
As she called for am ambulance, she revealed her husband had been attacked and that Kheerat was the culprit - with the police soon on the way.
Kheerat ran before finding himself watching the police from the Square, hidden out of sight.
His new flame Stacey Slater saw him and hurried him inside her house, before realising he was behind Gray's attack.
Not going into detail, Kheerat explained to Stacey that it was self-defence and that he needed to get away.
She decided to help him, and when an officer knocked at her house to ask if she had seen him, she lied and said she hadn't other than earlier that morning.
The pair soon shared a kiss, revealing their feelings for each other, before Stacey realised she had to get Kheerat away from Walford.
After a touching goodbye, she helped Kheerat into the boot of her vehicle before driving off into the distance.
It's not clear where she has taken him and if or when Kheerat will return, but the soap also didn't reveal Gray's fate.
So will Kheerat be facing a murder or attempted murder charge, or can he prove his innocence?
EastEnders airs Mondays and Fridays at 8pm, and Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7:30pm on BBC One.
