EastEnders actor Ricky Champ is a dad again after wife gives birth to baby boy

EastEnders star Ricky Champ is a father again after his wife Sammy revealed she'd given birth to a baby boy.

The mum-of-two shared the happy news on Instagram announcing the tot had arrived ahead of schedule.

Sharing a pic of the drugs she needed after her Caesarian, she wrote: "My waters broke 2 weeks early (the night I got my date which was supposed to be July 6!

"Baby boy is here and well. And we are obsessed," followed by four blue hearts.

Sammy also posted a snap of some morphine and anti-clotting jabs, which are often needed after the operation.

She captioned the collection of meds: "Tell me you've just had a C-section without telling me you've just had a C-section."

The couple's fans flocked to congratulate the proud parents on their new arrival, who joins the family of three.

Ricky, 41, and his wife already have a four-year-old daughter called Beatrix, who takes pride of place on Sammy's social media.

The adorable red-head will no doubt be delighted with her new baby brother.

The actor first announced his wife was expecting again with an ultrasound pic, bunch of blooms and a wooden sign reading: "Baby Champ. Due July 2022."

However it wasn't smooth sailing for Sammy, who ended up in hospital in March.

She told followers: "Not where I planned spending today. Everything’s OK with bub, just high blood pressure for me.

“Southend hospital midwives are amazing. We are so lucky to have the NHS.”
