East Midlands Railway have said trains are being diverted and delays are expected due to a tree on the line. The tree is blocking the railway at Clay Cross in North East Derbyshire.
It is affecting routes between Chesterfield and Derby and trains are being diverted where possible. Network Rail have sent a team out to the affected site.
East Midlands Railway said on Twitter: "We expect delays and alterations whilst the line is closed. More info to follow." They are still running services on the route but diverting around the closed line where possible.

It comes after the rail company told Nottingham Forest fans to use alternative routes to London for their match against Huddersfield Town later today. EMR told Forest supporters travelling from Nottingham to use alternative stations including Chesterfield, Derby and East Midlands Parkway.
