Three people have been injured after a fireball explosion at a block of flats in East Malling, Kent.
Firefighters raced to home at around 7pm last night after reports of an blast.
The three people who were injured in the incident were treated for burns and breathing difficulties.
They were initially treated by firefighters but were passed into the care of paramedics, a fire service spokesman said.
It is not yet clear exactly how the explosion happened but the fire service says it is believed to be accidental.
A Kent Police spokesman said: "At around 7.15pm on Sunday 19 February, Kent Police was called by South East Coast Ambulance Service to an address in Catlyn Close, East Malling.
"Officers attended the scene where they assisted Kent Fire and Rescue Service."
A Kent Fire and Rescue Service spokesman added: "Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to reports of an explosion at a flat in Catlyn Close, East Malling.
"Two fire engines attended and crews treated three people for burns and breathing difficulties. They were then passed into the care of SECAmb paramedics.
"The cause of the explosion is unknown but is believed to be accidental."
