Police Scotland has launched an investigation after £1,000 worth of damage was caused to a child's wheelchair at an East Lothian beach.
The incident happened at Gullane Beach, involving 10-15 teenagers all aged around 15 years-old and occurred on Thursday, June 29, at around 5.30pm.
Whilst the user of the chair was down at the sea, the chair was left unattended between the beach and the car park. It was then pushed down onto the sand before causing significant damage by the youngsters.

The damage caused to the wheelchair rendered it undrivable with the incident being described by Police Scotland as "deplorable and unacceptable."
