Police have launched enquiries in East Lothian after a man was found dead at a local beauty spot.
Officers in the area have confirmed they are investigating following the "sudden death" of a man at Tyninghame Beach on Saturday afternoon (July 16.)
Emergency services raced to the scene shortly after 3pm, with both police and the ambulance service seen at the beach, near Dunbar.
The family of the man have been informed, with police remaining at the scene.

Police Inspector Dougie Wardell said : “Officers are currently in attendance at Tyninghame Beach near Dunbar following the sudden death of a man.

"His next of kin are aware and we are liaising with his family. Enquiries are ongoing.”
