East Lothian Love Island star Jay Younger has been causing drama in the Love Island villa since his arrival.
The 28-year-old star caused a stir on Friday night's episode of the ITV2 dating show as he picked Welsh paramedic Paige in the recoupling, despite her being in a strong relationship with Jacques.
Since entering the show, Jay wasted no time getting to know Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu, and even shared a sneaky kiss with the Turkish actress while she was coupled up with Davide Sanclimenti reports the Daily Record.
Things seemed to be going well with Ekin-Su and Jay, before he confessed his true feelings for Paige. However, now that Jay and Paige are coupled up, bookies believe the couple have virtually no chance of winning the show together.
According to Ladbrokes, Paige and Jacques are one of the strongest couples as viewers put money on them winning the show at the end of summer, placed at 11/8 odds of being crowed winners at the end of the season.
Whereas Paige and Jay in their current couple, are placed at 20/1 odds of winning as viewers notice she doesn't seem very interested in getting to know the Scottish financial adviser.
Speaking of the odds, Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: "Jay caused an upset on Friday night by coupling up with Paige, but the odds suggest he's got little to no chance of winning her over, and it'll only make her relationship with Jacques stronger."

On Thursday nights episode, Paige broke down in tears in the dressing room, questioning Jacques’ feelings for her following his reaction to Jay’s revelations he wanted to get to know the 24-year-old Welsh paramedic.
Speaking around the fire-pit, Jay had told partner Ekin-Su: “Obviously, you’ve probably sensed that I’ve been a bit off today and yesterday and it’s just because I want to be honest with my feelings.
“I feel like because I moved so fast with you I didn’t get the chance to explore getting to know one Islander in particular here, which is Paige. I wanted to tell you first because I respect you and I owe you the respect.” However, the couple stands as fan favourites to win despite Jay throwing a spanner in the work as they shared a passionate kiss together after the recoupling.
Love Island continues Sunday night at 9pm on ITV.
