A caravan fire in East Lothian is being treated as 'wilful'.
Locals spotted plumes of smoke coming from Edinburgh Road, Tranent, on Sunday night. Alarms were raised just before 6.30pm, with police and firefighters racing to the scene.
Officers have said the fire was set on purpose. Enquiries are ongoing, though it has been confirmed that nobody was injured.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Police received a report of a caravan on fire on Edinburgh Road in Tranent around 6.25pm on Sunday, 16 April, 2023.
“The fire was extinguished by the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service and no-one was injured.
“The fire is being treated as wilful and enquiries are ongoing.”

A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson added: "Operations Control mobilised two fire appliances to the town's Edinburgh Road, where firefighters were met by a well-developed fire.
"Crews extinguished the fire and made the area safe before leaving the scene. There were no casualties."
