A student from East Kilbride is fast-becoming one to watch in the racing driver world.
Logan Hannah is balancing her career as a female racing driver with her studies - and is making it all look easy.
The 20-year-old is currently studying for a Sports Psychology degree at the University of Stirling while competing in the GB4 Championship for Knockhill-based Graham Brunton Racing.
In 2020, she became the first woman to stand on the top step of the podium, winning the highly competitive David Leslie Trophy, and has no plans to slow down anytime soon.
Logan's love for the sport came from her dad and it was while watching him race that she decided to follow in his footsteps.
Honing her karting skills for five years, the Scottish racer joined a UK-based academy while juggling her life in Dubai. This step-up gave Logan the opportunity to race cars in the Middle East, with four years in Formula Ford plus competing in GT4 machinery.
When she turned 17, Logan explored the racing world independently, giving her vital experience and ultimately the chance to compete in the GB4 Championship. The UK-based series features eight circuits including Silverstone GP and Donington Park.
As well as finishing her degree, Logan is dreaming of driving in the pinnacle of endurance racing and hopefully competing for a manufacturer team at the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
She also hopes to inspire other female drivers to get into the sport having had a few role models of her own growing up.
She explained: "There are a lot more women in the paddock but I still think there should be more diversity in all aspects of the racing world.
“Being a female in a male-dominated sport, I had to pick my battles, however being a woman racing driver gave me more branding opportunities.”
Logan is currently competing in the GB4 Championship.
