Six Kilmarnock streets wont have their bins collected today as strike action continues to impact on routes.
East Ayrshire Council say that refuse workers were unable to complete routes yesterday.
And as a result they won't be able to return today to collect bins at the following streets: Eday Crescent, Uist Lane, Portree Avenue, Burra Drive, Dunskey Road and Ochiltree Place.
Residents are being reminded not to present their recycling trolley for collection.
Industrial action is set to last to Wednesday, August 31.
East Ayrshire Council said: "Your waste collection service will be affected by industrial action from Wednesday, August 24 up to and including Wednesday, August 31.
"Please do not put out your recycling trolley for collection. Save your recycling and present it bagged with your trolley on your next scheduled collection day.
"Please do not put out your garden waste bin or commercial waste bin for collection. Arrangements will be made to collect your bins as soon as possible and as resources allow.
"We are sorry that we were unable to complete the planned routes yesterday, Thursday, August 25, and that we will be unable to return today to collect bins at the following addresses:
- Eday Crescent, Kilmarnock
- Uist Lane, Kilmarnock
- Portree Avenue, Kilmarnock
- Burra Drive, Kilmarnock
- Dunskey Road, Kilmarnock
- Ochiltree Place, Kilmarnock
"Please take your bin back in and arrangements will be made to collect your bins as soon as possible and as resources allow.
"If today, Friday, August 26, is your household waste bin collection day, do not put your bin out for collection.
"Your household waste bin will be collected as soon as possible and as resources allow.
"Please share this information with affected neighbours, friends and family.
"The recycling centres at Garlaff, Cumnock and Western Road, Kilmarnock will remain open today, Friday, August 26 and appointments can be made online.
"Western Road, Kilmarnock will be unable to open on Saturday, August 27 and Sunday, August 28. We have been attempting to contact everyone with an appointment to rearrange a suitable date and time next week. If you have an appointment scheduled for this weekend please rearrange your appointment online."
