A serial road menace left two people injured after fleeing the scene of a crash while on bail for an earlier dangerous driving.
Graeme Berry was already banned from driving when he smashed into another car by going through a red light.
The other driver suffered whiplash injuries while a woman in Berry's car was left with a broken leg.

Newcastle Crown Court heard Berry was initially banned from driving as long ago as 2009 for dangerous driving and excess alcohol and never took the extended test he needed to regain his licence.
On January 22 last year police spotted him behind the wheel of a Ford Mondeo in Hetton-le-Hole and they recognised him and knew he was banned.
He ignored their instruction to pull over and sparked a chase during which he drove through a red light, drove on the wrong side of the road, overtook on a blind corner and caused another vehicle to take evasive action.
Police ended up aborting the short chase, which happened near a school around 3pm.
While on bail for that, on November 9 last year, Berry crashed a Vauxhall in Easington Lane.
A man on his way to work around 8am went through a green light and was hit by Berry's out of control car, which had gone through a red light.
The other driver suffered whiplash and chest pain and went to hospital but was not seriously hurt, although his car was badly damaged.
Lee Fish, prosecuting, said: "The defendant made away from the scene, leaving two passengers in his vehicle.
"A lady was trapped in the front passenger side. She had a broken leg.
"The defendant, having made off, had got in someone else's car."
Berry, 35, of Tamar Street, Easington Lane, pleaded guilty to two counts of dangerous driving, two of driving while disqualified, two of no insurance, failing to stop after an accident and failing to comply with a red light.
He was jailed for 23 months and banned from driving for 206 weeks.
Emma Hughes, defending, said: "He wishes to express his genuine remorse for the offences to which he has made full admissions.
"There are references which speak very highly of him as a person."
