Kyogo Furuhashi has revealed the reaction to his Celtic opener against Rangers felt like an "earth-shaking roar".
The Japanese striker, 28, netted twice in the 3-2 win over Rangers at Parkhead last weekend.
And Kyogo saluted Celtic supporters inside the stadium for the electric atmosphere during the match.
He told Celtic TV: "First of all, it is great that we got the result we wanted. I am glad that we were able to win this difficult game with everyone united by the wonderful support of our supporters.
"And I am happy that I could score two goals in that game. The stadium was like an earth-shaking roar."
He added: "Goals are special and I am happy to score a goal like that in front of a big home crowd that makes everyone smile."
Kyogo's double against Rangers takes his tally to 28 goals for the season across all competitions.
But the humble forward thanked his team-mates, the Celtic coaching staff and supporters for their backing to help him succeed in Glasgow.
He said: "As I always say, I am able to improve because I play with a great team, wonderful fans, and amazing staff.
"I am able to score goals because of the support of everyone, so I really want to thank everyone and I hope to score as many goals as possible in the future."
Celtic had the backing of the entire capacity crowd for the derby fixture last weekend with away allocations non-existent for the remaining league fixtures against Rangers.
Neither club will have fans at the opposition away ground after an agreement on seating - with previous 7,000-strong allocations first lowered to 700 before being completely wiped out.
For the Celtic players, it threw up a unique scenario where a "moment of silence" fell upon the stadium after James Tavernier's equaliser in the first half.

Asked whether it was an unusual experience, Kyogo said: "Well, yes. The whole place was filled with our fans and I was able to feel that our supporters were cheering us on from the bottom of their hearts.
"Indeed, we conceded a goal but we still had the chance to come back and we were confident that we could win if we could express what we always do on the pitch.
"I am glad that we were able to win in the end, and that came from the constant support of our supporters."
