Investigations are under way following a shop fire on the state's Central Coast, which damaged three premises and a car.

About 2.15am Thursday August 22 emergency services were called to a shopping complex on the Pacific Highway, Charmhaven, following reports one of the shops was on fire.

NSW Fire and Rescue officers extinguished the blaze, but the shop was extensively damaged and two shops on either side were also damaged in the fire. A car was found at the scene and appeared to be lodged in the wall of one of the shops.

Tuggerah Lakes police attended the incident and established a crime scene.

Police have not received any reports of injury, and no one was located at the scene on arrival.

Anyone with information on this incident is urged to come forward and contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
