"Therefore from time to time I make these posts so some of you can share stories and just talk to someone who knows what you are going through."
One user replied: "I’ve suffered with chronic pain for about 10 year. I have fibromyalgia, I don’t take any medication but I’m really struggling now the weather is changing, the cold really gets to me. I can certainly sympathise with you. I’m 43 but feel 83!!! The key is to keep going, push on."
Another said: "Lying awake now with the worst shoulder pain. Going to be another long night."
Eamonn responded: "Sorry to hear... but know the feeling too."
To another social media user, he said: "This is a brief escape but maybe people will bond and stay in touch."
Recently, Eamonn covered The Queen's death and funeral alongside co-presenter Isabel Webster.
He was able to travel via a buggy whilst at Buckingham Palace, which he said was appreciated due to his mobility issues due caused by his chronic pain.
The 62-year-old said: "Getting around and organising the media area at Buckingham Palace is a massive operation especially if like me you are having mobility issues. So really appreciated the ride."
