Eamonn Holmes has caused a stir by sharing a rare photo with his youngest son Jack, with fans shocked at how similar they are.
The This Morning host, 60, was feeling emotional as he took to Instagram to share a post about missing his family.
Uploading a picture of him posed alongside Jack, who went to university in September, Eamonn reflected on happier times.
"Missing my baby boy .......", he began.
The TV star then revealed that the new lockdown measures had left him unable to see a number of his relatives.
He went on: "As a matter of fact missing all my children, my Mum , my Brothers and everyone who I am close to. I'm sure u r the same."
While many of his 690,000 followers agreed with the sentiment, many more rushed to tell Eamonn about the striking similarity between him and his youngest child.
"Oh my goodness - spitting image!" cried one.
"A chip off the old block there Eamonn," agreed another.
"He looks just like you Eamonn! I hope you can see them all very soon," another fan told the TV favourite.
"Two very handsome men, it's so difficult at the moment isnt it Eamonn. Hopefully it won't be long before you can give that boy a big hug," added another - to which Eamonn responded with three prayer emojis.
Eamonn's wife of ten years Ruth Langsford, also piped up in the comment, writing 'Me too' in the comments followed by a tear emoji.
Speaking on Loose Women earlier this year, Ruth said she found it tough to pack her boy off to university while the coronavirus pandemic rages on.
She admitted she was 'absolutely bereft', but added: "I'm all right now, we took him and he seems to be fine, seems to have settled in all right, but it's a worry now with lockdown."
Husband and wife duo Eamonn and Ruth welcomed Jack back in 2002, two years after they tied the knot.
Eamonn is also father to sons Declan, 31, and Niall, 27, and a daughter Rebecca, 29 from his first marriage to Gabrielle Holmes.
Eamonn and Gabrielle were married in 1985 for 10 years before they separated in 1995.
When the Belfast born star started dating TV reporter Ruth two years later, they opted to keep their romance out of the public eye out of respect for Gabrielle and his three children.
