Eamonn Holmes and his girlfriend Katie Alexander enjoyed a glitzy night out in London, marking another public appearance as a couple since going public with their relationship.

The 65-year-old broadcaster looked smart as he leaned on his walker outside The Noel Coward Theatre, while Katie, 43, stunned in a sleek black dress with a jewelled neckline. The pair were all smiles as they arrived for the press night of The Last Laugh, a play celebrating the lives of comedy legends Tommy Cooper, Eric Morecambe, and Bob Monkhouse.

They weren’t the only famous faces at the event—Maisie Smith was also spotted in a red plaid dress and black leather jacket, bringing some youthful edge to the star-studded night.

The outing comes just weeks after Eamonn proved his commitment to Katie over Christmas by making an epic four-and-a-half-hour drive from London to her home in Mirfield, West Yorkshire, to spend time with her and her children.

A source close to the couple shared: “Eamonn headed to Katie’s home for Christmas to show just how loved-up he really is. It was a long drive from his bachelor pad in London. He’s met Katie’s two younger children before, but turning up at their home was still nerve-racking.”

Eamonn and Katie first went public with their romance in October, just months after his split from Ruth Langsford, his wife of 15 years. The Loose Women star reportedly ended their marriage after discovering messages between Eamonn and another woman.

Now navigating life as a newly single woman, Ruth recently opened up about her feelings in an interview with Woman & Home. “I’m not delighted my marriage is over, but I’ve accepted it. I’m trying to now embrace the fact I’m single and can make choices that are just about me,” she said.

Acknowledging the difficulty of going through a public breakup, she added: “Divorce is very painful. Most don’t do it in the public eye, with everybody having an opinion. But that’s the nature of my job. I’ve always had that, and if you can’t cope, you shouldn’t be doing this job.”

With Eamonn moving forward in his relationship with Katie and Ruth embracing her independence, both seem to be finding their way through life after their high-profile split.
