Eamonn Holmes has been showered with support from his celebrity friends and social media followers after sharing another candid post about his health. The former This Morning presenter has been open about his struggles with chronic pain in the hope of helping others.
The GB News anchor has previously suffered a dislocated pelvis and three slipped discs and last year underwent back surgery in a bid to help ease his symptoms. However, during his recovery the 63-year-old suffered a terrible fall, fracturing his shoulder.
In a new update, the television star said he was "desperate for results" as he shared a glimpse into his physiotherapy. He told his 780k Instagram followers: "Hard to explain what this apparatus does ... but it's all about reawakening my Neuropathic connections.
"Slow progress ... but great dedication to me here. I'm so desperate for results."
Eamonn was showered with comments from supportive celebrity pals with former Countdown presenter Carol Vorderman simply writing: "Champ," while TV star Lucy Alexander replied: "They CAN Be re-awoken. Goooo go go."
This Morning's Alice Beer wrote: "Keep going E. Great spirit," as radio DJ Bob Harris added: "You’ve got this Eamonn!"
Imogen Thomas shared her own experience as she offered support, telling Eamonn: "My mum goes to intense rehab up north for 4 weeks in may where she will be doing all this. 5 hours a day.
"Can’t wait praying for results. She desperately wants this as do I!!! Good luck! Keep going." For more showbiz and television stories get our newsletter here.
