Eamonn Holmes insists there's 'no chemistry' between Holly and Philip amid feud rumours

Eamonn Holmes has weighed in on the rumoured feud between his former This Morning colleagues Philip Schofield and Holly Willoughby, claiming there's 'no chemistry' between the presenters.

The Belfast native spoke on GB News today following the pair's absence from Sunday night's BAFTA awards ceremony. Rumours have been rife of a recent falling out between Holly and Phil, who have formed a strong onscreen partnership together after Holly joined This Morning in 2009.

Eamonn took aim at the presenting duo by suggesting the show would continue to be a success whether or not they remained on air. Both presenters appeared on screen this Monday for the latest instalment of This Morning, despite reports they would not host together as tensions remain high.

The 63-year-old said: "The public surely have sussed there's no chemistry and that it's a broken fit between the two of them. This Morning does not depend on who presents it- it's an institution and it will carry on regardless of who presents it."

Eamonn also claimed that the two were employing lawyers and PR teams following the demise of their friendship. The broadcaster previously hosted This Morning on Fridays with his wife Ruth Langsford but the pair departed from the talk show in 2021.

The GB news presenter previously branded ITV as 'sly' after he left the show, the Irish Mirror reports. Eamonn also alleged that Philip Schofield was renowned for snubbing his co-workers on This Morning.
