Eamonn Holmes has earned an estimated £1.3 million in the space of two years, despite no longer working as a presenter on This Morning.
The Mirror reported back in November 2021 that Eamonn was leaving the ITV daytime show to join GB News.
Eamonn and his wife Ruth Langsford used to host This Morning every Friday, and would also fill in for Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield during the school holidays.
However, the husband and wife duo were replaced by Alison Hammond and Dermot O'leary - who now present the Friday episodes.
But it seems that losing the This Morning gig hasn't affected Eamonn's bank balance too much as he's said to have raked in £1.3 million over the last two years.
Records held by Surrey-based holding company Holmes & Away Limited - co-founded by Eamonn and Ruth - indicate that he paid a ballpark £265,000 in Corporation Tax since 2020, meaning he earned just over a million in gross pay.
Loose Women host Ruth has almost doubled her husband's earnings by commanding £3million over the same 24-month period through her commitments to the ITV panel show Loose Women, as well as Langsford Late, Zoo Story and Lose A Stone In Four Weeks for Summer.
Ruth's bank balance was also boosted thanks to her independently held theatrical company Hey Ho Ltd, which boasts £2.3million in resources - including £1.1million in cash, the Mail Online reports.
The balance sheet also reveals Ruth has taken £1.5m in loans from the firm, and last year she was paid a nominal salary of £8,788.
Ruth began working for This Morning back in 2000 when she appeared as a guest host.
She became permanent in 2006 as co-host with Phillip Schofield, 60, and is now the programme’s longest-serving presenter as well as a regular panellist on ITV’s lunchtime show Loose Women.
The in-demand host and TV personality also works on a string of other programmes including TV Travel Shop, Langsford Late, Zoo Story and Lose A Stone In Four Weeks for Summer.
A representative for Eamon Holmes had no comment when approached by The Mirror.
