Eamonn Holmes's GB News co-host, Isabel Webster, is set to be replaced as part of a series of major changes announced by the broadcaster.
Webster, 41, who joined the channel at its launch in 2022 after a career at Sky News and the BBC, will be succeeded by Ellie Costello, 31, as the weekday host of the breakfast programme.
She’ll join Holmes from Monday to Wednesday and then Stephen Dixon on Thursdays and Fridays.
Webster has yet to address the change on social media, but in her latest Instagram post, she expressed excitement for the year ahead.
“Final show from us for 2024. Thanks for your company this year. See you soon! Merry Christmas – I hope you all find some peace and joy,” she wrote.
Additionally, presenter Mark Dolan announced on Wednesday that he had been "relieved of his duties."
Dolan, a writer and comedian, had hosted Mark Dolan Tonight on weekends since 2021 and Mark Dolan Live on Fridays until November 2023, before being moved to the Friday Night Live show.
On Wednesday, the presenter took to X, formerly Twitter, to confirm his departure following his show: “STATEMENT. GB News have made the decision to permanently relieve me of my duties at the channel.
“I will speak publicly about this in due course.”
The surprising shake-up at GB News has also impacted Jacob Rees-Mogg, whose screen time has been reduced. The Conservative politician will now host State of the Nation only on Mondays and Tuesdays, down from his previous four-day schedule.

Meanwhile, Ben Leo is set to debut Ben Leo Tonight on Saturday and Sunday evenings starting in January, while continuing to co-host Britain's Newsroom on Fridays.
Comedian Josh Howie will take over hosting duties for Free Speech Nation on Sundays from 7-9 pm. Additionally, Andrew Doyle and Miriam Cates are set to take on more permanent roles at the channel.
Commenting on the shake-up, Head Of Programming and Talent on GB News Ben Briscoe said: “2024 has been a truly fantastic year for us. Not only are we regularly beating the other established news channels, but we are also making inroads against the big public service broadcaster terrestrial channels.
“Our initiatives will allow us to build on this success with a renewed focus and ambition.”
