Eamonn Holmes blasts Phillip Schofield's lies and tells 'others he kissed' to 'come forward'

Eamonn Holmes has lashed out at Phillip Schofield over his bombshell interviews last week, accusing him of "lies" after the disgraced star's claim he hasn't made "one mistake" in his 40-year career.

Former This Morning host Phillip, 61, said that his TV career was over after admitting to having an affair with a much younger male colleague - but also claimed that he is a "victim of hate" and that he has "lost everything" as a consequence of his lies.

However, Phil's former colleague and biggest critic Eamonn lashed out at the star on GB News, calling for "anyone watching today who has kissed Phillip Schofield, let us know".

"He said in is forty odd years of broadcasting that he's made one mistake, he had one kiss that he shouldn't have had," Eamonn continued.

"I put it to anyone watching today that if you have kissed Phillip Schofield let us know. Let us see if that figure of one grows to the figure that I believe it is probably at."

Earlier on in the show this morning while Eamonn discussed Phil's interviews with showbiz reporter Ellie Phillips and his co-anchor Isabel Webster, he declared: "We're not supposed to criticise him in case he harms himself but he still thinks he can go on and say lies, lies, lies.

"He's admitted he is a liar. You should see the emails, the texts and the messages I've been sent over the past week. I think he's getting off very very lucky.'

"Like everybody else he lied to me, I was happy to stand by him until I found out that he was lying... This isn't about him being gay, not in the slightest."

He went on to criticise stars like Jeremy Clarkson defending Phillip at the weekend, saying: "Clarkson didn't work there what does he know?"

Phillip candidly opened up last week about the affair, insisting that he did not groom his younger colleague, suggesting that it was not an abuse of power because they had been become mates.

He also denied that an NDA was in place preventing the man from speaking out and that he was paying for his former lover to have his lawyer.

The former presenter also claimed that his daughters were scared to leave his side after he "lost everything".
