Veteran TV presenter Eamonn Holmes asked fans to "wish him well" as he continues to suffer from chronic pain. The star has been seen using walking sticks and wheelchairs in public over the last few years as he battles medical issues including a trapped sciatic nerve.
A dislocated pelvis in 2021 caused the 63-year-old to slip three discs in his back, causing him to have surgery last September. Two weeks after that operation, Eamonn fell down the stairs at his Surrey home, breaking his shoulder and affecting the use of his legs, the Mirror reports.
In his latest health update on Saturday (July 1), Eamonn posted on Twitter: "Saturdays... I used to love them. They used to mean football. Now they mean Gym.

"Heavy rehabilitation scheduled every Saturday in particular to strengthen my legs and back to hopefully get me walking unaided again... But I just don’t like it... Wish me well."
Earlier this year, Eamonn was pictured in a wheelchair to cheer on his favourite team Manchester United as they played Newcastle United. Back in December the former This Morning host said he was struggling to stay motivated.
He said: "Worked hard at my physio this morning. Very tiring but I've now sat on my backside for 5 hours and feel bad about doing nothing... Lack of mobility & depending on others stops me doing really simple things. For peace of mind I feel another round of foot exercises coming on."
Opening up on his chronic pain battle back in 2021, Eamonn shared just how much it was affecting him. The presenter, who now works for GB News, said: "Starting the day by tackling the pain from the night before... On the physio table. Chronic pain. Just can't get it to go away."
