The Philadelphia Eagles will get a massive boost from star pass rusher Brandon Graham when they face the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LIX on Sunday evening.
Graham, who is a highly accomplished sack master, suffered a triceps injury in Week 12 of the regular season and had been on Philadelphia’s injured reserve list during the Eagles’ playoff run.
Now set to return for Super Bowl LIX, Graham’s dynamic pass-rushing prowess could prove to be a boon for Philadelphia’s defense, which will need all the help it can get to stop Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs.
The Eagles announced Graham’s activation in a post to Twitter on Saturday:
We have activated DE Brandon Graham from Injured Reserve, elevated FB Khari Blasingame and LB Nicholas Morrow for the game, and have placed OL Nick Gates on Injured Reserve. pic.twitter.com/TAUgGubARE

Though Kansas City’s game plan for scoring on Philadelphia’s outstanding defense isn’t likely to change in light of Graham’s activation, head coach Andy Reid will need to ensure that he accounts for the veteran defensive end when calling pass plays.
Stay tuned to see if Graham will be able to make an impact in Super Bowl LIX.
