The matchup between the Kansas City Chiefs and Buffalo Bills may be the premiere game of the upcoming NFL Championship Weekend. The rematch between Patrick Mahomes and Josh Allen figures to attract the most eyeballs on Sunday, as they’ll add another chapter to their growing and storied rivalry. But based on the ticket prices entering the weekend, it is the NFC matchup between the Philadelphia Eagles and Washington Commanders that has a far higher price tag to attend.
Eagles vs. Commanders Contest Breaks Ticket Price Records
According to TickPick, the NFC Championship game currently has a get-in price of $781. That is the cost for the least expensive single ticket to Sunday’s contest in Philadelphia, far higher than the figure shown for the showdown in the AFC. As of Thursday morning, the price to attend the Sunday’s game at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City has a get-in price of “only” $284, which is a decrease of 175% from its counterpart.
As is the case with mostly all consumer products, the cost of tickets has skyrocketed in just the last year. The 2024 NFC Championship game between the 49ers and Lions in Santa Clara had an average ticket price of $966. That figure has ballooned by 30% in 2025, as the average for Eagles vs Commanders is currently sitting at $1,263.
It continues a trend that was started last week in Detroit. The success-starved Lions had broken the record for the most expensive ticket in Divisional Round history for their game against the Commanders, which also ranked as the third-most expensive non-Super Bowl ticket that the league has ever seen. The average price to see Detroit lose as a 10.5-point favorite was listed at $855, that figure coming from Vivid Seats.

Should the price hold into the weekend, the game between the Eagles and Commanders will feature the most expensive NFC Championship tickets in the history of the league.
Ticket prices in Philadelphia have been high all season. Entering the year, the Eagles ranked third in the NFL in terms of most expensive get-in prices, with an average of $224 for their 8 home games played at Lincoln Financial Field. They ranked behind only the Detroit Lions and Las Vegas Raiders in that category.
