Eagles up 12 at halftime after two late touchdowns in first half

The Philadelphia Eagles went for a two-point conversion after Jalen Hurts found the end zone thanks to a Tush Push late in the second quarter on Sunday at the Linc.

The decision to go for two was enhanced because of a penalty on Marshon Lattimore, who got into it with Eagles WR A.J. Brown.

Lattimore and Brown jad been jawing on the play before the touchdown and it continued on the scoring play.

The ball was moved to the one and the Eagles tried another Tush Push but the Commanders stuffed it.

The Eagles got the ball back immediately after a fumble on the ensuiing kickoff. They thought they had a touchdown on a Hurts run but Landon Dickerson was called for holding.

Later in the drive Mikey Sainristil was called for uneceesary roughness when hitting Saquon Barkley out of bounds.

That led to a Hurts TD pass to A.J. Brown for four yards. After the PAT, it was 27-12 for the Eagles.

The Commanders managed to drive 46 yards in 37 seconds and Zane Gonzalez hit a 42-yard field goal to make the deficit 12.
