Eagles injury update entering Week 8: Who’s coming back, who’s still out?

The Eagles utilized the bye week as a time to get healthy, recharge, and adjust for the 11-game stretch run that’ll close out the regular season.

One key ingredient for post-season success will center around health along the offensive line and increased depth on defense.

CB Josh Jobe — Jobe was listed as questionable on the injury report this week with a shoulder injury.

In Week 6, Landon Dickerson, Jason Kelce, and Isaac Seumalo were all on the injury report.

While kicker Jake Elliott, linebacker Patrick Johnson, cornerback Avonte Maddox, and running back Boston Scott all returned to the lineup in some capacity after missing the Week 5 win over Arizona due to injury.

RT Lane Johnson — Johnson suffered his third concussion as a pro during the win over Dallas, and the Eagles will take their time with his return.

As of Monday morning, there was no official update on Johnson’s status in the concussion protocol.

DE Janarius Robinson — The Eagles placed Robinson on injured reserve Saturday with an ankle injury.

Robinson initially landed on the Eagles’ Week 6 injury report when he showed up as a limited participant in practice due to the ankle issue. He’ll now have to miss at least four games.

TE Tyree Jackson — The Eagles placed the second-year tight end on the Reserve/PUP list ahead of joint practices with the Dolphins during the summer.

Jackson is an intriguing tight-end prospect that switched positions after playing quarterback in college at the University of Buffalo.

Jackson tore an ACL in Philadelphia’s Week 18 loss to the Cowboys after scoring his first career touchdown, and the knee injury came after the tight end missed the first eight weeks of the season with a back injury.

OL Breth Toth — Toth has appeared in nine regular-season games for the Eagles over the last two years, and he also suffered an ACL tear in that loss to Dallas.
